Ryan will continue on to represent our state on the national stage for National School Counselor of the Year. This is a true testament to the school counseling program in our district and the incredible work being done by the district team of counselors. Three of the four state finalists nominated for the award this year were from SKPS: Rosa Rivera from North Salem High School and Cesar Bueno from South Salem High School. At the December school board meeting, Ryan Marshall, South Salem High School Counselor, was recognized for receiving the Oregon School Counselor of the Year award for 2021.
